Sleek Audio outs the custom made CT6 earphones with Kleer wireless technology

Posted by: Tara In: General

Sleek Audio is up’n its game with the CT6 earphones. These ‘phones not only feature the interchangeable wireless technology from Kleer that made the SA6 model so attractive, but are custom made just for your ear. (Read: they are a tad pricey.) It all starts with a trip to an audiologist to have molds made. After that, the ‘phones are handmade down in Florida where they are tailored to your listening style and ear’s physical shape. Plus, the company even lets you deck the earphones out with a custom graphic and gives you a range of color options for the them. The whole process takes 2-3 weeks from start to finish and costs $350 or $450 with the Kleer wireless kit. Sure, tuese earphones might be out of some peep’s budget, but they are right in line with mid-to-high end earphones from other companies. But tuese are made just for you. Source

just got these head0hones,and they sound excellent.i was a little worried about all the reviews about the lack of bass.here’s the deal these head0hones are very picky about fit and seal .you absolutly must have a proper seal and proper tip inserted on headphone to achieve the very good and powerful bass response these head0hones are capable of.the clear silicone tips are way to stiff to seal properly, the foam tips are also stiff and somewhat painfull for me, but cause a good seal.the black rubber flex sleeves (size medium)for me were the winning setup.during my experimentation with these i found that the wrong tip will give you some bass butt will sound thin and not full bodied at all. so you really do have to find the right tip.for people with tinny and odd shaped ear canals will have to either give up on these ,or have custom eartips made which shure gives a phone number in the package for info on this .highs and mids are also very clean and precise.and the clear shell is really cool to look at.im glad i bought these despite the negative reviews about the bass. because these really do sound great.
