ProGuard Fleximonitors Custom earphones – connevans.co.uk

Posted by: Michael In: General

ProGuard Custom Fleximonitors are very high quality custom fit earphone with a high isolation factor well above 25d,b tailored precisely to the users own ears. The small balanced armature driver system employed on this earphone, which practically looks like a minuet coil that vibrates just like a violin string when presented with the smallest of electrical impulses, gives a smooth and distortion free response. The fine musical detail which was hidden before is now given up and sounds just how it was recorded in the studio. Coupled with the superb sound isolation it make an excellent listening environment giving precise and uncoloured sound detail. The Fleximontor custom earphone is made from non-allergenic medical grade soft silicon and comes in a white finish with a matching white cable that make it one of our most popular products. The custom fit helps give the Fleximonitor a low physical profile fitting comfortably into the ear canal making totally discreet and supremely comfortable. Source

My stride is very weird and bumpy and I have always had the hardest time keeping ear phones and ear buds on. These are the first to stay in and be comfortable. I love that there are no extra wires or straps to go on-top or around head/ears. This makes them perfect to wearing hats, helmets and sunglasses. They are SO good at blocking out noise that when I run with my 2 yr old (in a stroller BOB revolution) I have to take one out just incase he is needing me or talking to me. But, then again sometimes it is nice to block that out…If you are in a fight with your spouse I would most definitely put these in…you wont hear them talking. Ok that was a joke but these things are great. I have also had questions and have had great customer service when dealing with the company. Let me be one to tell you that these things are AWESOME!

As much as I wantdd these to be amazing, they are just not that great. I have a very small ear bowl and most ear phones, including buds tend to fall out, especially during workouts. These definitely fit the bill for staying in, but if the sound quality is completely inferior, why bother? The midrange and high notes come through marginally well, but the bass is virtually non existent in these, especially after fitting.

Although I may continue to use these when riding motorcycle and vgiorous activity (i.e. when music is background noise and my attention diverted), the search continues for the perfect workout headphones. *SIGH*
